Biography
Hi, I'm Gwen! I'm a filmmaker/photographer with a love of bringing visual creative projects to life. I graduated from UNC School of the Arts with a B.F.A in filmmaking in 2022. In school I concentrated on Directing and Screenwriting - I wanted to learn how to bring written words and concepts to life on the big screen. ​​UNCSA challenged me everyday, and I came away with great art to show for it.

After college I got a job as a school photographer with Lifetouch. While it might not seem like the most glamorous job, it was incredibly valuable. In the course of my 2 years there, I fine tuned my understanding of lighting, posing, and the business side of photography. All while getting to capture beautiful smiles of children. I am very proud of my time at Lifetouch.

With years of experience, I feel I am finally ready to step into a freelance role. I am excited to bring my experience and visual creativity to any and all clients. I have a wealth of experience with portraits, candids, family pictures, and events. I would love to expand my skills into an editorial setting.

When I'm not taking pictures or working on a movie, you can find me doing comedy around the Triangle. I love making people laugh, and it is a skill I love to bring to my photoshoots.
